Concussion Info
The information below was ackknowledged by each participant at registration via the registration form it is here for your review. There are also links under the concussion tab directly to concussion training and information.
According to Maryland Law all participants, Parents/Guardians, and Coaches must acknowledge receiving information regarding concussions. The information is available at www.cdc.gov/concussion . The law also requires any youth athlete suspected of sustaining a concussion or other head injury in a practice or game shall be immediately removed from play. The injured athlete may not return until they have obtained written clearance from a licensed health care provider trained in the evaluation and management of concussions and head injuries.
